Aimee Markle

Hello, my name is Aimee and in one way or another I have been involved with dogs all my life.  When I was in high school I started working at a kennel in Grafton, Ohio.  I loved working there and spending time with the dogs.  I cleaned kennels and walked the dogs.  While working at the kennel I found my very first dog, Jake, a rottweiler mix that I eventually adopted.  I still have him today and would be lost without him.  I worked at the kennels through college and knew I eventually wanted my own business working with dogs.  I was not sure exactly what though. After college at Kent State University I decided to go to school to learn how to professionally train dogs.  I attended Tarheel Canine Training in the spring of 2005, I spent 8 weeks there and loved every minute of it.  After school at Tarheel Canine I realized I would need more experience with the dogs before opening my own business.  So I accepted the internship at Tarheel Canine Training for a year.  After my internship I took over the position of Head Obedience Trainer at Tarheel Canine and worked there up untill November of 2008.  I loved working with the dogs and training them but it was time to move on to my dream of owning my own place.  So that's where I am now starting up Aim High K9 with my own group of 4 dogs.  I look forward to training and helping people with their own four legged handfuls!!
